?L.B. Residents Golf Club Membership
Aims & Objectives: The Leisure Breaks Residents' Golf Club (L.B.R.G.C.) has been formed to provide golfing residents of Spain (ex-pats & Spanish Nationals) the opportunity to pursue their favourite sport under similar conditions to those which they enjoyed at their home club in the past. In other words, golf at a reasonable price and the comraderie associated with a clubhouse. While we cannot match these conditions exactly, due to the commercial nature of golf here on the "Costa del Golf", Leisure Breaks S.L. has decided to take advantage of it's long association with the many golf courses on the coast and the generosity of some of them in providing uniquely low green fee rates to members of our new club. Our new premises in the heart of Fueingirola can provide exactly the right facilities associated with a members' club; i.e. 2 bars and an excellent restaurant, very reasonable priced; a TV lounge, snooker room and meeting room. We feel that these two factors combined offer the nearest approach to a traditional members' golf club. The following conditions of membership are designed to protect the privileged relationship the LBRGC enjoys with the Costa del Sol golf courses. Welcome!
CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP:
1) Membership is limited to NIE holders, who must produce I.D. confirming their status. Membership is non-transferable.
2) Membership is renewable annually, from the beginning of the month following expiry of each term.
3) Members are strongly urged to adhere to R&H rules and etiquette, in addition to conditions applied by hostgolf clubs, and to behave in a manner unlikely to jeopardise our special relationship.
4) Guests of members are welcome, but numbers may be restricted, depending on demand. Their green fees will be charged at Leisure Breaks' normal clients' rates.
5) A membership card will be issued to members on joining the LBRGC and must be produced at any course where the member has pre-booked as a member of the LBRGC.
6) Members are entitled to pre-book into any of the official weekly club meetings and any extra rounds on other days, taking advantage of Leisure Breaks' preferential rates.
7) All bookings must be pre-paid. Any cancellations should be made prior to the host course's own cancellation conditions. Green fees cannot be refunded in the event of late cancellations or no-shows.
8) Monthly medals will be held during the last week of each month and an order of merit league table will run throughout the year, for which the best 6 cards will count. The leader at the end of the year will be crowned Club Champion. Members only will qualify.
9) Special golf trips & matches will be organised from time to time, to venues further afield. These will include preferential rates for green fees, hotel and travel by coach. Non-playing partners will be welcome.
10) Members are entitled to use the clubhouse facilities as follows:
TV lounge (satelite TV), snooker room & swimming pool *, when in use,& meeting room. Members will receive a 10% (15% married couples) discount on food & beverages in the clubhouse bar and restaurant, upon showing their membership card.
*Members will receive a 10% discount for daily use of the swimming pool when in use, and preferential booking for the snooker table, with 10% discount.
11) A notice board will be displayed in the clubhouse, displaying current information, including a list of members, coming events, the club order of merit, etc.
