The attraction of La Cala Resort for warm weather golf training lies not only in its practice, coaching and fitness facilities, but in the fact that it boasts three 18 hole courses and a par three 6 hole course. The latest visitors were the Czech Republic's national squad, comprising eight boys and six girls aged between 12 - 22 years, with handicaps ranging from +2 to 5. National team captain Mikulas Ordnung explained that most courses at home are closed from October through to April, so practice is limited to indoor mats. Future plans include visits to La Cala Resort in February and then March next year, the second visit being devoted mainly to playing the three courses.
