Once one of the more popular courses on the coast, Miraflores has recently set about some radical improvements to bring the course up to the standard needed to attract it's share of visitors. The most welcome (and expensive) improvement has been to the water treatment plant governing the two lakes close to the 5th green, which are now completely odour free. The club has also sought guidance from the Sports Turf Research Institute in the UK, to improve the general condition and presentation of the course.
