However, there is another side to the coin. A recent turn of events has seen the introduction of the new "mid" season in December and January, which sees the return of drastically reduced green fees, similar to the summer deals which we have been enjoying over the past few months. The number of courses subscribing to this innovation increases every year, as more golf courses compete for business and recognize that permanent residents will be providing the answer to empty golf courses during the periods when golf tourists prefer to stay at home. Come the merry month of May, we return once again to affordable golf, in that low green fees are now on offer for at least six months of the year. So the glass is not half empty, it´s half full and getting fuller!
