REM radio to promote golf comps

For those who missed the announcement in last week's edition of the Costa del Golf page in Sur in English, R.E.M. (Radio Europe Mediterraneo), Spain's most popular English speaking radio network, will soon be promoting and sponsoring jointly with Golf Leisure Breaks, a new series of daily high-profile competitions at some of the coast's most popular courses. Daily prizes will include free golf, golf shirts, golf equipment & balls, invitations to dine at some excellent restaurants, plus nearest the pin & longest drive prizes. There will be monthly free draws for valuable golf equipment and a star prize during the year. Courses already selected include Sta. Maria, The Royal Málaga Golf Club and Calanova, with others to be announced shortly. REM's involvement will result in huge publicity for the courses selected as hosts for these daily competitions, who will no doubt work together with the organisers to ensure the success of this promotion.
