Belonging to a golf society is one way local players can enjoy competitive golf at affordable prices and there are plenty of them along the Costa del Golf. But why belong to just one, with limited fixtures and venues? Joining the Golf LB Golf Society costs a mere 20€, and you receive a logo'd quality polo shirt, worth 30 euros, so you're ahead already! The society plays Mondays (Sta. Maria), Wednesdays (Parador) and Fridays (Calanova), plus a cosy "quickie" on Thursday mornings at the excellent Greenlife par 3 executive course. Members also receive 20% discount on selected nearly new golf balls, starting at 10€ for a mixed bag of 20 balls, including Top Flight (12€ dozen), Nike (16€ dozen), Callaway (18€ dozen).
